A Prayer for Freedom

Please pray for the release, pardon and exoneration of former Border Patrol agents Nacho Ramos and Jose Compean who have been imprisoned now for over a year. Pray that they are freed and reunited with their loved ones.

Pray for victory and success for our troops.

Thank God for our system of government, which ensures the orderly transfer of power. Praise Him for the many opportunities we have to choose our leaders at the federal, state and local levels. Ask God to prompt each of us to examine the candidates and vote for those who most closely share our values.

Finally, thank our Heavenly Father for the freedom to practice our faith and pray. This foundational right of U.S. citizens has continued through well over 200 years of wars, Depression and attacks on the homeland. Pray that we will never let these freedoms be taken for granted, and we will instill an appreciation for them in our children and grandchildren.

May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight and conquer all your fears. May God manifest himself today in ways that you have never experienced.
