Kaine's Dream: Taxes, Taxes, Taxes

CNSNews.com reports that columnists Robert D. Novak and Timothy P. Carney list Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine as their second choice for Obama's VP because he is a “moderate Southern governor.”

If Novak and Carney mean that the liberal Gov. Kaine has never met a tax he wouldn't try to hike, then they may be on to something. In comparison to Obama, who plans to introduce the largest tax increase since WW II, Kaine is a neophyte. But then again Kaine hasn't been able to have the euphoric Democrat dream of raising taxes on a national scale till now.

Actually, former Governor Mark Warner has the most experience raising taxes, since he gave Virginians the largest tax increase in the history of the Commonwealth. He also has the most experience in deceiving the voters. Warner could help Obama fool the masses as he fakes a move to the center with the line that Warner made infamous:

"I will not raise taxes."
