"Last night, Michelle Obama closed her speech saying, “God bless you and God bless America.” Yet for the past twenty years, she and her husband attended a church whose pastor preached about wild conspiracy theories, who said America was to blame for the 9/11 terrorist attacks and who roared from the pulpit, “God d--- America.”
What should voters pay more attention to? A one time, heavily scripted speech written to be broadcast on national television? Or off-the-cuff statements in small groups made over and over again?"
