Is Orwell's "1984" coming true?

"The claim that free markets caused the nation's credit troubles are so ridiculous that on George Orwell's newspeak, the fiction language in his novel "1984," comes close to what we are hearing from politicians and the media. The vocabulary of newspeak gets smaller every year by removing any words or possible constructs that describe the concept of freedom. I'm afraid it isn't fiction anymore."
