Pierello: A Stealth Candidate

Tom Pierello is running a raft of radio ads in his quest for Congress in the 5th District. However, he coyly refuses to tell listeners his party affiliation in his generic, patriotic clips.

Pierello follows through with this ruse by attacking banks. He says that he wants the banks to "work for the people and not the other way around." Then Pirello deceptively blames everyone, except the real culprits, for the financial problems to which our government is currently overreacting.

However, if you follow the facts, the real source of these problems are those who fought against the reform of Fannie Mae and Fannie Mac for the last 15+ years;
those who gave themselves huge salaries and million dollar golden parachutes while falsifying records; and those who shoved the problems under the carpet while they made out like bandits taking handouts from these organizations.

Let's see... that would be people like Barney Frank, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Franklin Raines, Barack Obama and others who make up a "Who's Who" list of corrupt Democrats. And let's not forget the Democrats who set the stage for the subprime mortgage mess and then kicked the can down the road: Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Andrew Cuomo.

No wonder Tom Pierello doesn't want anyone to know that he is a Democrat.

Update
In his radio ad, Pierello blames the subprime mortgage problems on Republicans whom he claims deregulated the banking industry. This ludicrous charge is straight from the current Democrat/Obama talking points and is another conveniently manufactured liberal fallacy which Emmett Tyrrell easily dispels in the following article:
