Obama Wants to Fleece Future Generations for Partisan Gain

Gary Bauer, Campaign for Working Families warns about the totalitarian actions of the Obama Democrats. This is un-American!

Brace Yourself – Here Comes Barney!

Earlier this week, I warned against the administration’s latest step toward socialism – a salary cap that limits executive salaries to $500,000 at any institution that accepted a government bailout. As I said, I’m as angry as you are by the antics of some of these failed executives. But I warned you that the salary cap would inevitably be expanded and abused in the future. Well, I had no idea that the “future” would come so quickly.

According to Financial Week, Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), chairman of the House Banking Committee, is looking to expand dramatically the salary caps, perhaps even to every company! Here’s an excerpt of the article:
“Congress will consider legislation to extend some of the curbs on executive pay that now apply only to those banks receiving federal assistance, House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank said. …He said the compensation restrictions would apply to all financial institutions and might be extended to include all U.S. companies.” [Emphasis added.] Welcome to the Socialist States of America, my friends. It starts by demonizing the successful and scaring us into accepting socialism as the solution to our problems. First it was bad Big Oil. Remember all the calls for confiscatory “windfall profits taxes”? Then it was greedy Wall Street. Who will it be tomorrow? Maybe the company or industry you work for.

Meanwhile, President Obama is trying to frighten us into accepting this trillion-dollar bailout of Big Government, warning that if we don’t do this, America might never recover. Really? America’s best days are behind us? That’s quite a change from the message of hope and optimism that Ronald Reagan used to inspire our nation to greater things during the 1981 recession.

But Reagan knew that government wasn’t the solution. Today would have been Ronald Reagan’s 98th birthday. Let’s honor his faith in the American people by taking a stand against Obama’s trillion-dollar bailout of Big Government. Call your senators at 202-224-3121 and tell them to stop Ob
ama's spending.

By the way, CBS News released a poll yesterday that found only 22% of the public supports more government spending to stimulate the economy, while 59% said tax cuts were most effective. But two-thirds of Obama’s plan is dedicated to more government spending. He’s losing the PR battle and liberal Democrats are getting desperate. That’s why his rhetoric is becoming so harsh. Don’t fall for it. Fight back! Call Capitol Hill now!
