  • $50 million to $60 million - The trade war caused by President Obama’s omnibus spending bill has already ended pear exports to Mexico, a potential annual loss of $50 million to $60 million for American farmers, according to the Heritage Foundation.

  • $100 million in funding for The Emergency Food and Shelter Program, a nationwide social service program created by Congress in 1983 that helps hungry and homeless people throughout the United States, will be used to provide services to people who are in the country illegally.
  • 2.25 million red envelopes symbolizing the empty promise of lives snuffed out in abortion have been received by the White House mail office in a massive campaign that was larger than most White House #mailing movements in the last 35 years. On the backs of the envelopes, senders wrote a message "This envelope represents one child who died in abortion. It is empty because that life was unable to offer anything to the world. Responsibility begins with conception." The message was composed by a Massachusetts man, Christ Otto, who envisioned in January thousands of red envelopes sent to the White House, a visual expression of moral outrage over the president's position on abortion.
  • $1.4 billion - the amount homeland ballistic missile defense will be cut by in the Obama defense budget. We will reduce our ability to project power from the sea by cutting our carrier fleet from 12 to 10 battle groups. We will not modernize ground-combat mobility for the Army and the Marines. Obama’s budget also cuts the production line for the already proven F-22, according to Oliver North.
  • $12.1 billion in improper Earned Income Tax Credit payments were made by the Internal Revenue Service in 2008, according to a study by the Government Accountability Office. The EITC, essentially a form of welfare, also had one of the government's highest error rates in 2008. "Improper payments," according to the GAO, arise when an ineligible person receives the credit -- either through error or fraud, according to a report from CNSNews.com.
  • $999 billion - The present cost of amnesty. That means that if the government were honest about paying for the cost of amnesty, the government would put $999 billion into a dedicated, lockbox account earning a 5% rate of interest, then let that money appreciate over the next 48 years, while drawing down some of it every year to pay current costs, according to The Heritage Foundation.
