Obama: Still Pushing Utopia

Is the current occupant of the White House naive, "acting stupidly" or just totally invested in the destruction of America?

Obama’s Kumbaya Foreign Policy

Last weekend I spent a lot of time re-reading Barack Obama’s “Apology to the World” speech at the United Nations, hoping to find a silver lining. The speech, unfortunately, was as bad as I originally thought. It was a combination of anti-Americanism, apologies to our sworn enemies and outright foolishness. Multiple respected foreign policy analysts agree that Obama was trying to promote a “naïve kumbaya foreign policy.”

One of Obama’s most troubling statements was that “no nation can or should try to dominate another nation.” What Obama seems not to realize is that throughout history there have been dominant powers, and there will continue to be whether he likes it or not. The question is whether thug states or free nations, that believe in human dignity, dominate. While Barack Obama is trying to rid the United States of the title “Leader of the Free World,” China and Russia are taking the necessary steps to become world leaders.

The world found out last week that Iran is hiding a nuclear reactor. Many experts believe Iran has other hidden nuclear facilities. Obama responded with a press conference that Big Media loved but that must have caused laughter in Tehran. In fact, even the French can’t take Obama seriously. French President Nicolas Sarkozy said this: “We live in a real world, not a virtual world. And the real world expects us to make decisions. ...President Obama dreams of a world without nuclear weapons…but right in front of us two countries (Iran and North Korea) are doing the exact opposite.”

Over the weekend, the tyrants in Tehran test-fired medium and long-range missiles capable of hitting Israel and any U.S. military installation in the Middle East. In the launch videos, Iranian men could be heard screaming the words “Allahu akbar!”- god is great. Our God is great, but the god to whom these Islamists are shouting is not the God of the Bible. Our God said, “Choose life.” The deity worshiped by Ahmadinejad requires the worship of death. Ahmadinejad believes he has a religious duty to kill us.

The radical Islamists are getting closer to developing nuclear weapons, while in Afghanistan the commander of U.S. troops, General Stanley McChrystal, has called for reinforcements. Meanwhile, with each tick of the clock, Ahmadinejad’s dream of a nuclear Iran gets closer. Examining the growing dangers to the U.S., Obama decided to act -- he is heading to Copenhagen, Denmark, to promote Chicago as the host city for the 2016 Olympics. Let’s hope there still is a Chicago in 2016.
