Quote of the Day

"Why is Obama skipping the Senate’s “advice and consent” requirement for Berwick? I suspect it is because Obama doesn’t want Berwick to be asked any “crucial questions” about his extremely controversial views regarding healthcare rationing, using healthcare “reform” as a vehicle for the redistribution of wealth and his opposition to free markets.

As Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell noted, “Americans’ worst fears about [ObamaCare] are being realized every day. The fact that this administration won’t allow the man charged with implementing the president’s plan to cut $500 billion out of Medicare to testify about his plans for the care of our nation’s seniors is truly outrageous.”
