Let us pray,
Most
holy and glorious Lord God, the giver of all good gifts.
Thou
hast promised where two or three are gathered together in thy name, thou wilt
be in the midst of them and bless them. As we go forward in this New Year we
pray for your blessings and protection. Give us wisdom and courage to carry on
according to thy teachings and understanding.
We
pray for our nation every day and that our citizens will stand up for what is
right as given to us in our Judeo-Christian religion, way of life and
culture.
We
pray for all of those in our community who are bedridden, in wheelchairs and
immobile.
We
pray for our armed forces members located throughout the world. We pray for all
of our fireman, rescue personnel, police officers and all those brave men and
women who risk their lives for our safety.
For
this coming year, we commend our nation and its entire population into your
hands.
We
pray in the name of our lord and savior Jesus Christ,
