Krauthammer's Advice

By Gary L. Bauer

Barack Obama did his best to shut down the debate on Benghazi when he deployed that faux outrage that Democrats use so well against conservatives. When pressed on his misleading statements, Obama said it was "offensive" that anyone would question his administration.

Charles Krauthammer has a great column today on this very subject. Here is Krauthammer's suggested response:

"You are offended by this accusation, Mr. President? The country is offended that your press secretary, your U.N. ambassador and you yourself have repeatedly misled the nation about the origin and nature of the Benghazi attack."

Krauthammer is right, and I hope Romney is ready. The Democrat base loved Joe Biden's over-the-top antics and it loved Obama's bullying performance Tuesday evening. Intimidating political opponents comes naturally to liberals, including Obama. That's the subject of an op-ed I wrote in this week's Washington Times, which you can read here.
