Feb. 12th: GOP Candidate Forum in Farmville

Southside Virginia Republican Kick-Off Party & Republican Candidate Forum

Event Date: February 12, 2013 at 6:30 PMEvent Location: Robert Russa Moton Museum

The Republican Party's of Appomattox, Brunswick, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, & Prince Edward are coming together to host a kick-off party for the new year! We are also combining it with a Republican Candidate Forum where we hope to feature all 10 candidates running for statewide office in 2013.

So far, both candidates for Attorney General, Mark Obenshian & Rob Bell, have both confirmed that they are coming! Also all 7 candidates for Lt. Governor, Jeannemarie Davis,E.W. Jackson, Scott Lingamfelter, Steve Martin, Pete Snyder, Corey Stewart & Susan Stimpson, have all confirmed that they are coming as well!

We will be holding this event at 6:30pm on Tuesday, February 12th at the Robert Russa Moton Museum on Griffin Blvd. (in front of Kroger) in Farmville. Admission is free! Be sure to mark this on your calendar today!

MCRW COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
The following projects are on-going:
*** COMMUNITY FOOD CLOSETS – A collection box is available at all MCRW monthly membership for donations of non-perishable boxed/canned food items to be forwarded to the Madison Emergency Shelter Association (MESA).
*** LITERACY PROGRAM – donations of new or gently used books for local schools, library and charities.
*** SUPPORT THE TROOPS – “Operation Warm Heart” – A collection box is available at all MCRW monthly membership meetings for donations.
