2nd Annual Ride for the Unborn Saturday!

The Family Foundation of Virginia

It’s not too late to sign up for our 2nd Annual Ride for the Unborn this Saturday, September 14th.  We will start at The Heights Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, ride through the city of Richmond, into Capitol Square and back to the church.  Motorcycle ministries and pro-life advocates join from across the Commonwealth to celebrate God’s precious gift of life!

The program and ride are free, but there is a $10 fee for those desiring to stay for a delicious barbeque lunch from King’s Korner Catering.  Registration begins at 9:00 am and the program starts at 10:00 am.  We expect the ride to end around 12:30 pm and those who are able to stay can then join us for lunch.

As we enjoy the scenic route, we want to make a tangible difference by supporting our local Pregnancy Resource Centers. This year, we would like to support one of the newer local PRCs, The East End Pregnancy Resource Center.  A representative from the PRC will be onsite to receive donations.  I hope you will consider donating any of the following items on their needs list this Saturday:  Wal-Mart gift cards, Pampers, baby toiletries, onesies, blankets, crib sheets, boy's & girl’s outfits, sleepers, diaper bags, wipes, almost anything baby!

Even if you don’t ride, come join us for this incredible event – it is an experience you will not want to miss!  Imagine over 100 motorcycles riding to our state’s Capitol in support of life?  What a statement on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves.  Click here to view some pictures and a video of last year’s successful ride.

So that we can provide enough food and make the proper preparations, please register at www.familyfoundation.org/bike.  If you are staying for lunch and do not pay online, please bring cash or a check on Saturday as we will not be equipped to process credit cards.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
