NFRW MAGA Action Alert - Abolish Human Trafficking

MAGA ACTION ALERT
July 10, 2017
Abolish Human Trafficking Act
>>> S. 1311 <<<

The National Federation of Republican Woman has been a leader in the fight to stop human trafficking. The NFRW provided important support to secure passage of the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act in 2015. (Read more here).

Now, follow-up legislation has been reported unanimously from the Senate Judiciary Committee and needs your help to build momentum and get it passed into law.

S. 1311, the Abolish Human Trafficking Act, strengthens and reauthorizes key programs that support survivors of human trafficking and provides resources to federal, state, and local law enforcement officials on the front lines of this fight against modern-day slavery. Read more here.

If your Senators have not already co-sponsored the Abolish Human Trafficking Act, please call today and urge them to sign on to S. 1311. This is bipartisan legislation that has the support of more than 50 victims' rights and law-enforcement organizations.

Your Senators need to hear from you...

The Senate returns today following the Fourth of July State Work Period and has only a limited number of legislative days remaining this year.

That's why your calls of support are so important. Senators need to know that the grass-roots wants action on human trafficking.

Please call your Senator and urge him or her to co-sponsor the Abolish Human Trafficking Act (S. 1311) (you can call the Switchboard at 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected to their office).
