During Black History Month, Governor Youngkin and First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin honor and recognize the indelible ways Black Virginians have helped to shape Virginia's story and continue to shape our future.
Governor Youngkin issued an official proclamation calling on Virginians to join him in celebrating Black History Month and commemorated "the historic firsts in political leadership in our Commonwealth with the election of Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, Speaker Don Scott, and Senate President Pro Tempore Louise Lucas."
