Senator Mike Lee: About my vote last week

Last week you probably saw a lot of emails, texts, and tweets from me about the reckless spending package that passed the House and Senate.

I emphatically voted NO and I will continue to vote NO on bills that put Washington FIRST and the American people LAST.

The budget that passed last week FAILED on:

1. Securing the border
2. Controlling the national debt
3. And reviving our economy

When TRILLION DOLLAR spending packages like this pass – that don't address ANY of the issues facing our country – America is one step closer to its demise.
