HARRISONBURG – Mark Obenshain's campaign for Attorney General today announced that it raised $564,447 in September. The campaign reported $320,221 cash on hand at the end of the month.
Speaking about the fundraising numbers, Campaign Manager Chris Leavitt said, "The September fundraising report shows continued momentum building for Mark Obenshain's campaign for Attorney General. As of September, we have raised more than $1.5 million since the convention, and will continue to have the resources to communicate effectively with voters in the final three weeks. Mark Obenshain continues to assemble a broad coalition of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, receiving the endorsement of the Virginia Fraternal Order of Police today. This fundraising report reflects support from a growing bi-partisan coalition in support of Mark Obenshain's plans to keep Virginia communities safe and to keep our economy strong. Over the next three weeks, we will have the resources necessary to counter our opponent's dishonest negative attacks and win on November 5th."
Mark Obenshain is the Republican nominee for Attorney General of Virginia. He currently represents the 26th District in the Senate of Virginia.
