Bryce Reeves Announces Candidacy for Lt. Governor
FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Senator Bryce Reeves (R-Spotsylvania) formally announced his candidacy for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia tonight at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3103. Reeves has been laying the groundwork for his Lt. Governor campaign as chairman of Revitalize Virginia PAC for the past 9 months.
Colonel Roger Lintz, Reeves' Commander in the Army, two-time Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart recipient stated during his introduction, "Bryce is the conservative leader we need fighting for our Commonwealth. Bryce is a tireless worker and fearless leader whose life has revolved around public service having served as an Army Ranger, a Narcotics and Vice Detective, a Republican grassroots chairman, and now as a State Senator. As our next Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, Bryce is the person Virginians can count on to keep us safe and secure."
"I want to make sure that our Commonwealth, you, and your families are safe and secure." said Reeves. "Secure from terrorists hoping to exploit our vulnerabilities. Secure from criminals who don't care about following the laws of an orderly society."
"I support Bryce Reeves because he is the leader our state needs with job creation and economic development, while putting those who have served our country first." said Cheryl Sawyer, Vice President of Advanced Integrated Technologies in Norfolk, Virginia. "With Bryce's extensive background and proven leadership owning a successful business, his service to our country, and his many years as public servant, I know he will fix the current issues with our state while taking it back in the direction it once was."
Citing the need for true leadership in Richmond, Reeves added, "Now more than ever, we need strong, honest, and trustworthy leaders to put us back on the pathway to prosperity and freedom. I share your values and I will always protect and defend our God-given rights.
Senator Reeves concluded with, "I hope you will join me and fight for Virginia's future. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm Bryce Reeves and I am running for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia."
Bryce Reeves represents the 17th Senate District of Virginia. He is a small business owner, former Prince William County Vice-Narcotics Detective, and U.S. Army Veteran (Army Rangers). He spearheaded legislation to save reciprocity for Virginia gun owners and is running for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, focusing on improving Virginia's economy, preserving family values, protecting Constitutional rights, and fighting for taxpayers. Senator Reeves has been featured on Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN. He resides in Spotsylvania County with his wife Anne and their two children.

Family Research Council Action Unveils iVoter Guide Tool To Inform Values Voters
October 28, 2016
WASHINGTON, DC -- Today, Family Research Council Action (FRC Action), announced a new voter tool, iVoter Guide, providing values voters with comprehensive information on all federal elections in all 50 states, and all statewide races in 9 states. The nine states included in this effort are: Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington state, and Wisconsin. FRC Action plans to finish distributing over 4 million election guides prior to Election Day.
The voter guide rates the candidates in each race tracked by FRC Action on a scale of "very conservative," "conservative," "somewhat conservative," "moderate," "somewhat liberal," "liberal," and "very liberal."
The voter guide was compiled using legislative vote ratings, campaign finance data, virtual vote ratings, endorsements from around 300 liberal and conservative organizations, and candidate issue surveys to determine how each candidate would potentially govern given publically available data. The voter tool also includes a tool in which users can search their state and district candidates, find their polling location and share their research with others.
FRC Action president Tony Perkins commented:
"Conservatives can't afford to sit back and watch their country go over the edge with four more years of ultraliberal policies under a Hillary Clinton presidency, a Democratic controlled House and Senate and Democratic controlled state level governments. For America, this cannot be an election about two people running for president. It's about two fundamentally different visions for our country at the national and state levels. If polling has shown us anything, it's how razor-thin the margin of victory may be. In a nation this divided, even one vote can make a difference.
"The outcomes of this year's elections will have a major impact on the future of religious liberty, family values, sanctity of life, and the Supreme Court. In 2012, there were 39 million voting-eligible Christians who did not vote. As we travel the nation, we are telling values voters this is not a time to stand on the sidelines. If we, as values voters, do not stand up and exercise our freedoms now, we may lose them tomorrow," concluded Perkins.

Jane Dittmar Campaign Fooled by Man Claiming to be Lifelong Republican
"I am sure based on my interactions with my opponent that she would never be dishonest enough to falsely claim that Mr. Benford was a Republican. That is why I am flummoxed by the fact that over the last fifteen years, he and his wife have given thousands in political contributions, entirely to Democrats. Shame on him for pulling the wool over Ms. Dittmar's eyes. Sadly, knowing what strong integrity she possesses, I am certain she will pull the false ad."

Tom Garrett Receives Support for His Defense of Life
"I am honored to receive the support of these organizations who are so dedicated to the preservation of life. It is imperative that we continue to govern not just with moral conviction, but within the confines of our basic, inalienable rights, which include the right to life. This decades' long attack on the unborn by Democrats is unconscionable and I am proud to continue providing a voice for the most vulnerable among us."
In contrast, Democratic nominee Jane Dittmar has been endorsed by NARAL and Emily's List - both pro-abortion groups with agendas so radical that they support late term taxpayer-funded abortions while opposing parental consent to abortion for minors.
Senator Garrett received a 0% rating from NARAL - the National Abortion Rights Action League.
