Freedom Fighters Needed

Tony Perkins, Family Research Action, gives his take on the nationwide protest held on April 15th.

Give Us Liberty, Not Debt!

There were no shots fired at this week's Tea Parties, but the thousands of Americans who gathered to protest the government's plans to burden families with more taxes had the same fire in their eyes as the patriots of 1775. Two hundred thirty-four years ago this Sunday, a group of Massachusetts Minutemen ignited our war for freedom that changed history. At a simple Concord bridge they stood against a heavily armed enemy and defended their homes-regardless of what it might have cost them. It was the courageous stand of these Minutemen that launched our young nation into independence.

Today, we stand at a similar crossroads. The stakes are high. Like our ancestors, we need an elite force that can fight for freedom at a moment's notice. It's time to rally together and protest the intrusion of government in our era as the Minutemen did in theirs. If you'd like to join our ranks, log on to www.frc.org and sign up with your cell phone number. One if by land, and two if by sea/ And I on the opposite shore will be/ Ready to ride and spread the alarm/ Through every... village and farm...
