"The input from our 5th District health care providers, education leaders, and all those who visit our office is critical to helping me better represent the people of Virginia's 5th District. With policies put forth in Washington directly impacting our universities, doctors, nurses, patients, and students, I was pleased to be able to hear the goals and concerns of the UVA medical community during today's visit. I thank President Sullivan and all of the UVA health care providers for visiting us today and providing an update on their priorities. I look forward to working with our health care providers, education leaders, and students to ensure that policies enacted at the federal level will not unduly impact their mission to educate our young people and carry out life-saving research and care."
