BIG CONCESSION from DOJ: AR15s are NOT a military weapon

The recent win by the Second Amendment Foundation protecting the right to publish the data used to make 3-D printed firearms had another big win: 

The U.S. Government formally acknowledged that "non-automatic firearms up to .50-caliber – including modern semi-auto sporting rifles such as the popular AR-15 and similar firearms – are NOT inherently military."
