Remembering 9/11

"..There are no easy solutions when it comes to foreign policy in the worst parts of the world. Everyone of good heart wants American soldiers out of Afghanistan and home. But how many Americans are willing to risk the increase in terrorism likely to follow such a withdrawal? So long as we remember 9/11, the answer will be: very few."       Ben Shapiro

"The war in Afghanistan isn't a regional or tribal conflict, it isn't a war on "terrorism," it isn't a war on narco-warlords (even though 90% of the worlds illicit opium originates there); it is a war between the values of Islam and the values of the Western Enlightenment, and if you refuse to understand it and fight it on those terms the war in Afghanistan will never be over and certainly never be won. It is clear to anyone with a modicum of knowledge about Islam and its doctrine of Sharia supremacy that the Taliban in Afghanistan and ISIS in Syria and Iraq, and its offshoots elsewhere around the world, do not desire any kind of "peace" except the peace of the Ummah – the peace of the worldwide reign of Islam.."     George Rasley

"Sooner or later we will bring the rest of our troops home from Afghanistan. But the real war won't be over. The enemy is still around, in nearly every country in the world. They're lurking in the darkness and hiding right in plain sight here in our own country. And that's the war that will probably never end."   Jazz Shaw

" 9/11 was neither a beginning nor an ending. The war we are in has gone on for over a thousand years. It might go on for another thousand making a mockery of the appeasers who lecture about "endless war." Wars go on for as long as one side is willing to fight them. The nightmarish reality is that the other side is willing to fight forever. That is a truth too troubling for most people to come to terms with. But until we understand that, we will have learned absolutely nothing from September 11, 2001." David Greenfield

"We never said that Islam is a religion of peace, and always maintained that we must be harsh on infidels, hypocrites and blasphemers"
Muslim cleric Khadim Hussain Rizvi

From the Koran
"O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them." (9:73)

"Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are harsh against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves." (48:29)
