May we pray:
Our heavenly father, we
thank you for our nation and the opportunities this country has given to
millions of people over the last 300 plus years. "Opportunity" is the
one word that best describes our country.
Currently, our ox is in
the ditch. We have millions of families out of work and we have millions of
people who have forgotten how to work. The old saying "when the going gets
tough, the tough get going' seems to have vanished from our way of thinking.
We pray that our people
will find the courage to never give up. We pray that our captains of industry will
find work positions for those ready and willing to work.
We pray that our political
leadership will support the entrepreneurial spirit
across America.
We pray for the souls of
our fallen soldiers. Please be with our men and women serving our country
around the world.
