A Prayer for Strength and Commitment
Let us pray:
Our heavenly father and giver of life,
Our prayers are being answered every
day and for this we are crateful to our creator.
We pray that you will give all of our
people wisdom as handed down to us in the writings of the Holy Scripture.
We pray for those looking for work,
please give them the courage to carry on.
We pray that you will teach us
tolerance and understanding of the needs of others.
We are at a moment in history when we
must pray for a modern-day miracle as granted by god for the faith and courage
our forefathers displayed fighting the British to save our country. This moment
is critical. We must reach to the ends of our souls and pray for strength and
commitment needed to save America one more time from the destruction
within.
With all our ignorance, societal
problems, a people divided, near bankruptcy and criminal government, we have
not lost our faith in god, we have not lost our love for this nation.
January 8th. Of this year a terrible
tragedy took place in Tucson, Arizona, where six people were killed and 13 were
injured, some severely. We thank god for all the progress congresswoman Gabrielle
Giffords and all the others have made.
Amen.
