"The $1.2 Trillion spending package that is really an "Anti-Faith, Anti-Family Stimulus."
Both the House and Senate versions of the bill provide that stimulus funds may NOT be used to improve (higher education) facilities that are "used for sectarian instruction, religious worship, or a school or department of divinity...."
How outrageous! In order to receive stimulus money, many public buildings will have to expel after-school Bible clubs and churches that rent facilities!
+ + Stimulus is also anti-family!
In addition to the anti-faith provisions, this stimulus is anti-family as well. Versions of the bill have included hundreds of millions of dollars for "family planning" programs. It's a good bet that much of the money will end up in the hands of groups like Planned Parenthood."
Call your two Senators and say "NO" to this anti-faith, anti-family stimulus bill:
