Culpeper Meeting Tonight - Guest Speakers: Steve & Codie Peters

Tonight's Sarah Palin RW Meeting

Welcome to SPRW at Open Door Baptist Church 754 Germanna HWY (Rt 3) Culpeper 22701. Tonight we will be blessed with Steve & Codie Peters from Albemarle County who made Drudge Report with the Tom Periello video "If you don't tie our hands, we'll keep stealing."

Steven Peters grew up in the San Francisco Bay area in the 1960s and is very familiar with how the left operates.

He served twelve years as a naval submariner aboard such boats as the SS BAYA, SSN Nautilus, and the SSBN Abraham Lincoln.

His last assignment was a Nuclear Weapons Officer aboard a ballistic missile submarine.

In Hawaii, he started an full line insurance business, and was the consultant to the Hawaii State Restaurant Association.

Codie (Spouse) and Steve have lived in, and been real estate investors in Hawaii, Vail, Colorado, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Virginia.

Although always conservative, Codie and Steve have become more politically active in the last four years.

They have been active in the Tea Party Movement from the beginning, and Steve has served on the steering committee of the Jefferson Area Tea Party.

Codie and Steve are cochairman of the Scottsville Magisterial District for the Albemarle County Republican Committee (ACRC).

Steve is presently serving as vice chairman of the ACRC. Codie is currently serving as president of the Albemarle Charlottesville Republican Women's League.

They have held several fundraisers and events at their farm for conservative candidates.

Steve helped organize and lead the bus trip to Washington DC, that took the famous video of Tom Perreillo saying, "If you don't tie our hands, we will keep stealing."

He has protested at Tom's office multiple times and attended over 10 of Tom's "Town Hall Meetings." He threatened to file suit against Tom Perreillo with the help of the Rutherford Institute, when Tom installed a ban on signs at his Town Hall Meetings. Both events received national news coverage and one was posted on the Drudge Report.

He writes an online column and has been on several local radio programs. The Washington Examiner recently quoted him on two occasions.

He considers himself a conservative activist and a Tea Party Patriot. He is extremely active in getting people to come forward and volunteer for conservative causes. "It takes a village of conservative activists to counter the liberal left."

Please bring finger foods if able, to our meet & greet at 6:30 PM. Meeting ends 8:30 PM.

Rich Nilsen, spokesman for Ken Cuccinelli rescheduled to come energize us next month, Monday October 11.
