Rep. Robert Hurt on the 2nd Presidential Debate

CHATHAM, VA. – Congressman Robert Hurt (R-Virginia) released the following statement after the Presidential debate:

Mitt Romney walked away from [the] debate with a decisive victory in hand. He won on the merits of his ideas. He debunked President Obama’s false odes to fairness by proving just how unfair the President’s policies are to the millions of Americans who cannot find work. He demonstrated the emptiness of the President’s calls for fiscal responsibility by highlighting the massive amounts of debt that have accumulated under this administration’s watch.  And Romney did something more: he articulated a vision to turn the tide on President Obama’s broken promises and record of failure by delivering a real recovery through pro-growth economic policies.“
