"As soon as Barack Obama was elected president, he stressed the urgency of passing the largest spending bill in our nation’s history. The one trillion dollar “stimulus” was supposed to save us from a depression. In fact, it is the only major legislation that Barack Obama has pushed for and successfully signed into law. According to a new USA Today Gallup poll, 38% of Americans believe the stimulus will leave the economy in worse shape, while another 22% believe it will have no effect. The public has deemed Obama’s largest policy initiative a failure at this point."
