Setting Our Country on the Right Course

National Federation of Republican Women
Supports House GOP's 'Pledge to America'

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Sue Lynch, president of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), issued this statement regarding "The Pledge to America," which outlines the House Republican legislative agenda for the next Congress.

"The National Federation of Republican Women is proud to support 'A Pledge to America,' which is built on our nation's founding principles and addresses the priorities and concerns of the American people, including revitalizing the economy and reducing government spending.

"The 'Pledge' stands in stark contrast to the radical liberal agenda, defined by Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, which does not reflect the will of the American people and has propelled our country into deeper debt while failing to deliver on the promise of more jobs.

"The NFRW looks forward to working with House and Senate Republicans to set our country on the right course to economic prosperity and a better future for the generations of Americans to come, and we believe 'A Pledge to America' serves as an impressive first step in the right direction."

Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation and in several U.S. territories, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
