Mark Obenshain to Campaign in Suffolk, Chesapeake and Chesterfield Tomorrow


Mark Obenshain will make stops in Suffolk, Chesapeake and Chesterfield tomorrow, Saturday, October 12 in his campaign for Attorney General. He will meet with voters at 11:00 a.m. at the Suffolk Peanut Festival. For four days each October, the Suffolk Peanut Festival draws some 125,000 people and has won the accolades of professional festival organizations and national magazines. 

He will next stop at the Chesapeake Rotary Wine Festival at 1:00 p.m. with Senator John Cosgrove. The event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern Virginia and other charities supported by the local Rotary. Obenshain formerly served as director of the Harrisonburg Rotary Club.

At 4:30 p.m., Obenshain will stop at Chesterfield Sheriff Dennis S. Proffitt's annual barbecue. Sheriff Proffitt is one of 59 Republican, Democratic and Independent Sheriffs to endorse Mark Obenshain for Attorney General. 

Mark Obenshain currently represents the 26th District in the Senate of Virginia. All members of the press are invited and encouraged to attend these events.
