With the midterm elections less than 100 days away, Republicans are primed to defy history by holding both the House and the Senate. The grass-roots efforts of Republican women and other activists will be key. Now is the time to connect with local campaigns so you and your club are ready to put boots-on-the-ground in September. Watch for National Days of Action and Republican Leadership Initiative (RLI) trainings in your area.
Whether you are on the campaign trail or just talking to family, friends, and neighbors, remind them the U.S. is reaping the rewards of Republican pro-growth policies, including tax relief and regulatory relief.
- The economy grew 4.1 percent in the second quarter of 2018 – the largest single-quarter growth in four years.
- With disposable income up 3.5 percent and 1.2 million new jobs since tax relief, Americans report their highest level of economic confidence in 14 years.
- Unemployment dipped to 3.9 percent, near an 18-year low, and under President Trump, unemployment among women dropped to its lowest point in 17 years.
