Bryce Reeves Announces Endorsement by Paul Galanti

FREDERICKSBURG, VA
January 7, 2021

Today, Senator Bryce Reeves (R-Spotsylvania) is proud to announce the endorsement of Navy Commander Paul Galanti. Galanti is a highly decorated Vietnam War hero who was featured on the cover of both Time and Life magazines for having spent over six years in a Vietnamese prisoner of war camp, commonly known as the Hanoi Hilton. Galanti also served as the Virginia Department of Veterans Services Commissioner.

Paul Galanti stated, "Bryce represents the absolute best definition of leadership - as a member of our Special Forces, as a state political official and as someone who'll make a difference draining the embarrassing swamp our nation's capital has become. He keeps his word, and as all good leaders, always takes care of others before himself"

Bryce Reeves stated, "I've had the privilege of working with Commander Galanti over many years. I consider him a close friend, and I'm so impressed by the work he has done advocating for our veterans. It is a great honor to have him on my team."

Since leaving the service in 1982, Galanti has been a major proponent for veterans causes, especially POWs. He is active in numerous organizations, both in the Commonwealth and nationally, that advocate on behalf of veterans.

Paul Galanti is next in a long list of endorsements Bryce Reeves has for the 7th Congressional District. He has had a major outpouring of support from law enforcement officials, including the endorsements of seven sheriffs from across Virginia. Bryce Reeves has also received the endorsement of local conservative leaders including Del. Nick Freitas (R-Culpeper), former Speaker Bill Howell (R-Stafford), and Spotsylvania Commonwealth Attorney Travis Bird as well as national groups and leaders such as former Secretary of Energy Rick Perry, SEAL PAC, and FreedomWorks.
