The General Assembly passed the budget yesterday.
The Senate voted 38-0. The Governor now has seven days to offer amendments. We recessed Wednesday afternoon and will be given 48 hours to review any new amendments.
This is one of the few times in recent years that I voted for the budget. While it is certainly not perfect, I feel this budget is the best version we will have this year.
