“We the citizens of the County of Madison do object to the proposed real estate tax rate for years 2008-2009 being set at 48 cents per $100.00 of assessed value. This proposed rate would be an increase from the equalized rate of 40 cents per $100.00 of assessed value which was set following the county’s most recent assessment.”
