Midterm season is in full swing for the Hoos, but that hasn't stopped our members from fighting for our majorities! Here's what we've been up to and what's coming up:
Updates
Call Night
We had yet another successful call night last Monday and our chapter has now made over 4,500 calls! In order to incentivize our members, we give the weekly winner the choice between a signed Denver Riggleman baseball card from the annual Congressional Baseball Game or brunch with fmr. Congresswoman Barbara Comstock. The prize for the overall winner is a one-on-one dinner with Congressman Denver Riggleman himself! Needless to say, our members have been competing fiercely for these awesome prizes!
Weekly Meeting
Garrison Coward, the Republican candidate in VA's 68th House of Delegates district, spoke at last week's meeting. He talked about what inspired him to run, his experiences as a millennial candidate, and how the Republican Party can attract younger voters. Garrison vowed to prioritize policies that impact everyday Virginians the most, approaching each with a conservative mindset.

Upcoming Events
Deployments
In addition to the considerable number of calls made by the UVA CRs, our members have also knocked on hundreds of doors for our great candidates. With that said, we have five major deployments between now and election day, with our deployment for Delegate Rob Bell this upcoming weekend being the first. We'll keep you updated as they come along!
That's all we have for now. Thank you for your continued support of UVA CRs!
If you would like to donate to support our efforts to elect strong Republican candidates and help us grow our conservative community, you can do so by clicking the following link or by mailing cash or a check payable to "The College Republicans at the University of Virginia" to 304 14th St. NW #25, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
