"I support Representative Good's PISTOL Act, HR 3823, which would prohibit the BATFE from doing an end run around Congress and creating a law out of thin air. Congress makes laws, not bureaucrats buried in the bowels of Washington DC, bowing to the Anti-Gun Biden Administration," said Ross. "I was proud to lead the fight to make Spotsylvania County a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary and will fight to stop the anti-gunners in DC at every turn. The 2nd Amendment states clearly, 'shall not be infringed'. This is why, if I am elected to represent the good people of the 7th Congressional District in Virginia, not only will I co-sponsor the PISTOL Act, but also National Constitutional Carry as well as legislation to gut the efforts of the gun grabbers at the BATFE."
David Ross is a third-term County Supervisor for Spotsylvania Count and is running for the Republican Nomination for the 7th Congressional District.
"I am a proven constitutional conservative and will never compromise on your right to keep and bear arms, period," continued Ross. "Many claim to support the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, but none of my opponents have a true track record of fighting to restore the 2nd Amendment. Representative Good is leading the fight for Virginia, and I look forward to working with him to roll back any and all attempts to erode away the 2nd Amendment protected rights of Virginians to keep and bear arms."
The 7th Congressional District is made up of Caroline, Culpeper, Greene, King George, Madison, Orange, Stafford, and Spotsylvania counties, the City of Fredericksburg, and parts of Albemarle and Prince William counties. A Primary on June 21st will determine the Republican nominee.
