Birds of a feather: Evolutionists and global warmers

"Birds adjusting to rising temps, study reveals," is the front page story in today's edition of The Daily Progress. The article from the Washington Post News Service is a love note to evolutionist and global warming scare-mongers. How else could one explain such a lop-sided propaganda piece?

The article opens by stating, "Researchers have found that at least one bird population in England has managed to adjust to global warming."

Missing is the number of researchers, the amount of time and money it took for them to figure out that birds can move their mating season so their chicks hatch when food is most abundant. That sounds like a joke looking for a punch line.

In the third paragraph, evolutionary biologist Anne Charmantier states, "It's kind of good news to know that some birds can adjust."

Since evolutionists treat their speculative philosophy as if it were a religion, it appears that Ms. Charmantier, who doubtless believes that she is the descendant of monkeys, has little faith in the ability of evolution to enable birds to know when to mate. Say, by evolutionary standards, shouldn't those birds be biologists by now?

Also referenced in the article is Walter Jetz, a University of California, San Diego ecologist, who "cautioned that the new analysis offers little assurance the the great tits of England will endure the accelerating temperature rise predicted over the next 50 years."

Since global warming, like the unproven theory of evolution, is greatly disputed among scientists; one might expect to find a word from the ranks of opposing scientists to add balance to this left-wing hat-tip to "the debate is over" algore.

Perhaps the Post will evolve into a newspaper that uses stricter journalistic standards. If you can believe the Post's editors evolved from monkeys, and swallow the boogey-man of global warming, than you should be able to accept that premise as well.
