Virginia Delegate Nick Freitas released the following statement:
"This campaign is being driven by the grassroots. With 5,373 individual donors, giving an average of $63.97, the men and women of Virginia have found a candidate who has a history of sharing their values in the General Assembly and will bring the fight to Tim Kaine's liberal agenda.
As a former Green Beret, I know how to fight and win. My campaign gained ballot-access on the first day of filing and is approaching $400,000 raised. We will take this message of liberty and Virginia's values to victory on June 12th and ultimately November 6th - when we send Tim Kaine packing from Washington, D.C."
The Nick Freitas for U.S. Senate campaign was officially announced in January 2018.
