Encourage your religious leaders to speak up boldly in defense of our Judeo-Christian values. There are many battles looming on the horizon that will impact faith, family and freedom. Men and women of faith must answer the call.
Let me warn you now what we expect: Barack Obama publicly opposed Proposition 8 in California. He said it and other state efforts to protect traditional marriage were “divisive and discriminatory.” He has called the Defense of Marriage Act “an abhorrent law,” and he said repeatedly throughout the campaign that he wants that law repealed.
If President Obama, Speaker Pelosi and Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid make any attempt to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, Campaign for Working Families will fight them every step of the way.
