URGENT: Call for Election Officers
The CCRC has initiated a lawful change in how elections are officiated in Culpeper.
Former: All Election Officers (EOs) were "unaffiliated" with any Party. EOs were appointed to each precinct.
Change: A Party can request that EOs be "affiliated" with 1 of the 2 Parties and thus assigned equally at precincts. The CCRC Chairman has requested this change.
What does this mean?
WE NEED 62-70 EOs NOMINATED FROM THE CCRC BY DECEMBER FOR THE 2023 ELECTION CYCLE.
What is involved with being an Election Officer?
You are trained through the local Electoral Board.
You are paid to officiate elections, including primaries as needed.
We will have alternates available if an emergency arises so you can't fulfill your duties on election day.
EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SERVED AS AN EO, PLEASE RENEW YOUR DESIRE TO DO SO IN AFFILIATION WITH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

The newly-established CCRC Nominating Committee will consider all requests through a procedure they will establish.
The CCRC will approve the recommended nominees and communicate with them.

Tuesdays/Thursdays 11 - 2:30 and 4:30 - 7
Saturdays 9 AM - 5 PM

Payment: Pre-pay by check (made out to CCRC, plus employer/company info), cash or credit card (service fee applies). Drop check or cash off at HQ during hours or through mail slot, or mail to P.O. Box 484, Culpeper, 22701.
