What, exactly, are these mega-corporations endorsing when they proclaim "pride" in the LGBT agenda?  It's an agenda that attacks the foundational institution of marriage and seeks to intentionally deny children the love of both a mother and father. It's an agenda that denies bodily reality, seeking to replace biological sex with "gender identity" and "sexual orientation." It's an agenda that strips women of their rights to safe, protected areas reserved for females (housing, restrooms, showers, shelters, etc.) and allows men to compete against girls and women in athletics. It's an agenda that preys on young teens, targeting them for recruitment into a transgender lifestyle as a false and often deadly "solution" to their insecurities and confusion. It's an agenda that strips Americans of their religious liberty rights to live their lives according to their own beliefs, forcing them to bend a knee to the demands of LGBT radicals or face ruinous legal and reputational allegations of "discrimination." And it's an agenda that is pushed on unsuspecting, innocent children in schools, stores, libraries, community centers and countless other places where kids congregate. And, it undermines all state laws that have been enacted to protect minors from mutilating surgeries and sex change procedures until they are an adult.  Does this agenda sound to you like anything that big corporations should have "Pride" in supporting?  No. It inspires the exact opposite from millions of Americans – "Not Pride."

Biden's Bogus Order

Joe Biden's bogus "border security" executive order may well be the worst attempt at gaslighting the American people that we have seen over the past three and a half years. In fact, the entirety of yesterday's press conference was a huge admission that Biden has been lying to us!

Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas -- the most pathetic excuse ever for a Homeland Security secretary -- have repeatedly insisted that "the border is secure."

They knew it was a lie every time they said it! But if this "border security" order is so necessary, then the border clearly was not and is not secure.

Why not?

Because Joe Biden issued 94 executive orders undoing everything Donald Trump did to really secure the border. But don't take my word for it. Here's our so-called "Homeland Security Secretary" actually admitting it!

Joe Biden kicked the "border wall" 94 times! One order pretending to get tough won't make up for 94 previous orders gutting border security.

Parts of the wall were already paid for but hadn't been installed yet. Biden left the sections of steel bollards to rust in the desert. And when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott offered to buy the unused sections, Biden instead auctioned them off as quickly as he could.

Here's another lie. Biden said his order was necessary because congressional Republicans refused to act. False!

House Republicans passed H.R. 2, a serious border security bill, over a year ago. It was Senate Democrats who refused to act because they refused to even consider it.

Biden should be laughed out of the room when he claims to be securing the border!

Soon, you'll have the chance to vote him out of the White House for failing to secure the border!  

So Many Loopholes

As I noted yesterday, there are so many exceptions and loopholes in Biden's "border security" order that he should be sued for fraud. It will not secure the border!

Again, you don't have to take my word for it. Journalist Bill Melugin has extensively covered the border for Fox News. He said, "In no way can Biden's executive order be described as 'shutting down' the border."

If you question Melugin's objectivity, NBC's David Noriega said essentially the same thing, "I'm quite skeptical that this is going to have any kind of immediate, widespread, dramatic impact on the border. . ."

Perhaps the worst loophole is the fact that Biden excluded unaccompanied minors from the order.

Neil Cavuto confronted Secretary Mayorkas about this, asking, "Isn't that a green light for drug cartels to take advantage of [children]?" Mayorkas stubbornly refused to admit the obvious, and kept saying, "We're going to adhere to our values."

Really?

We know that the cartels exploit children in all kinds of ways. We've seen it before. Barack Obama had such a huge problem with unaccompanied children crossing the border that he wanted to speed up child deportations.

We know adult illegal aliens exploit this loophole by claiming to be children.

We know that unaccompanied children, sadly, are subject to exploitation here in the United States by sex traffickers and businesses looking for cheap labor.

We know the Biden administration lost at least 85,000 migrant children.

The Biden administration is running the biggest human trafficking operation in the entire world! They were in such a rush to get the kids out of processing centers that they turned them over to people who weren't even vetted!

How is any of that "adhering to our values"?

Biden Thinks You're Stupid

Joe Biden said the quiet part out loud yesterday when he attempted to placate his radical left-wing base. Here's what he said:

"For those who say the steps I've taken are too strict, I say to you: Be patient. The goodwill of the American people is wearing thin right now. Doing nothing is not an option. We have to act. . . We take the steps today . . . to make sure we preserve who we are for future generations to come."

 

Allow me to translate:

"For my neo-Marxist friends and progressive allies who don't want any limits on immigration, I say to you: I've seen the polling. After three years of open borders, the bigots and Neanderthals are angry.

 

"So, give me some space. If I don't do something now, we're going to lose. But if we get back in, Katie bar the door. We'll pass a mass amnesty bill and register millions of new Democrat voters."

The polling is clear. A majority of Americans, including 45% of Hispanics and 40% of blacks, want to deport as many illegal aliens as possible.

Asked to choose between a candidate who supports amnesty or a candidate who favors mass deportations, voters went 52% to 36% for the candidate calling for mass deportations.

Joe Biden and the Democrat Party have made it clear they will not deport anyone. They want open borders because they want millions of new voters. And they don't care how much it threatens national security, strains taxpayers, contributes to crime, gang violence, or fentanyl deaths.

The election is a dead heat, and immigration is one of Donald Trump's biggest strengths. But Biden only needs to pick up a few points on this issue to make the difference. So, five months before the election, he's finally pretending to care about the border, hoping he can move votes on the margins.

Activism is not the mission of universities College administrators, professors and even elected officials seem to have lost sight of higher education's purpose. Today, many seem to believe that the primary function of these institutions is to provide a platform for activism. Any steps to contain or limit political protest are seen as antithetical to their very existence. This view is erroneous, and we need to correct the misconception and restore the academic focus of colleges and universities. Post-secondary education serves a critical role in society. By fulfilling its foundational, primary mission of teaching students to think critically, and to acquire knowledge through scholarship and research, these important institutions prepare the next generation to be productive citizens. That's not just for their benefit, but for the benefit of all of us. Higher education is tasked with cultivating well-rounded individuals — that is ultimately the reason the government provides taxpayer money to support the industry, whether in student loans, subsidies, research grants or tax breaks. These students will become future leaders in medicine, engineering, education, science, policy and economics. Our republic is in distress.

The recent news from New York is yet another reminder: our republic only thrives when justice is blind; it deteriorates when justice is blinded by politics and power.

As you are well aware, last Thursday, the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, was found guilty on 34 felony counts in the state of New York.

Over the weekend, I discussed the former president's conviction with House Speaker Mike Johnson and how our response to the Left's misuse of power to silence political and ideological opponents is critical to preserving our republic.

I also discussed this disturbing news with my good friend Dr. Ben Carson. He described Trump's conviction as the result of a "kangaroo court," adding:

"I think the vast majority of people... understand that if we go down this road, we're done as a fair country. And I think that people will respond appropriately."

Martha, there are some within the conservative ranks that are demanding we fight fire with fire. In other words, lawlessness with lawlessness. Such an approach would be devastating to what remains of the structure of our republic. As Speaker Johnson pointed out publicly in an interview this past weekend, as conservatives, we believe in the rule of law.

Furthermore, as Christians, we know that to embrace the lawless tactics of the Left would be dishonoring to the Lord.

Thankfully, we are not left without examples of how to deal with lawlessness. Recall David. Anointed by God to be king, he spent nearly a dozen years being wrongfully pursued and persecuted by Saul.

But did David fight fire with fire? No, on multiple occasions, when David had the opportunity to strike back in like manner and protect his own life by killing Saul, he refused. He opted to trust God.

That did not mean David did not act; he did but in accordance with the Word and the ways of God.

We must do the same.

As Scripture says, "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21).

Donald Trump: Enemy of the State By John Eastman Donald Trump was a celebrity long before he descended the golden escalator in Trump Tower to announce his bid for the presidency in 2015. It is a common fact of life that hucksters of various stripes will try to cash in on their dealings with a celebrity—either going public with private interactions that would remain private with normal folk, or distorting such private interactions into something they were not in order to get paid off for the mere nuisance value. Such appears to be the case with Stephanie Clifford, the porn star best known by her stage name of Stormy Daniels. She claims that she and Donald Trump had a one-night sexual encounter at a celebrity golf tournament in Nevada back in 2006, when Trump was host of the television series The Apprentice. Trump denies that the sexual encounter ever occurred. I don't have any basis to know whether or not it did, but it turns out, in Alvin Bragg's mind, it doesn't matter.  Bragg is, of course, the New York district attorney who prosecuted Trump for filing business records claiming that reimbursement to Trump's lawyer for payments he made to Ms. Clifford to keep the story quiet were "legal expenses." In Bragg's version, if Clifford's story was true, then Cohen's payment, reimbursed by Trump according, apparently, to the jury's findings (though that fact, too, was hotly contested by Trump), was designed to prevent a negative story from coming out during the presidential campaign, and therefore to influence the election. Even if it was false, the payment, a nuisance settlement, was designed to prevent negative publicity and therefore influence the election. In either case, it was not a "legal expense," according to Bragg, but a campaign expense. For Bragg, that turned the normal business records misstatement (if it even was a misstatement; payment to settle a threatened nuisance suit is often treated as a "legal expense") from a misdemeanor under New York law into a felony because the misdemeanor offense was used to hide another supposed crime.
