Madam Speaker, Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less!

Today, on Rt. 29, between Ruckersville and Charlottesville, VA, gas prices dropped from $3.659 per gallon to $3.529 per gallon within hours. Talking about increasing our domestic gas and oil production seems to have had the effect that Republicans said it would. If Democrat Nancy Pelosi would let the House vote on the American Energy Act, just think what might happen.

Even though the Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and T. Boone Pickens apparently stand to make a lot of money if Ms. Pelosi can continue to obstruct American energy production, Americans can convince her to change her mind and do the right thing for our national security and energy independence. Follow the Center for Individual Freedom's link at the bottom of their message and let the Speaker know that Americans want action.

Take Action: Demand Congress Vote on Increased Domestic Energy Production

Legal_Update

Prices at the pump are at a record high and Americans, feeling the pinch, are rightly demanding that Congress act.

A recent Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll found that 76 percent of registered voters favor "increasing drilling for oil in the U.S. immediately."

Yet, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi continues her refusal to allow a simple up-or-down vote on lifting the Congressional ban on expanded drilling here in the U.S., which immediately would help drive down gas prices and reduce America's reliance on foreign oil.
