You're invited to attend AFP Foundation's NEWgrassroots training coming up April 30^th Charlottesville! Our top national instructors will be there to deliver effective grassroots leadership skills for you. This training is ideal for those wanting to understand key fundamentals of winning elections and the necessary skills to take action locally. This training includes:

Learning the demographics of your community.
How to use Power Mapping, and how to mobilize voters to the polls.
How to grow a community of volunteers.
Why grassroots tactics are vital to your success.
Foundations of creating a local strategy that will help win elections.

MCRW COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS
The following projects are on-going:
*** COMMUNITY FOOD CLOSETS – A collection box is available at all MCRW monthly membership for donations of non-perishable boxed/canned food items to be forwarded to the Madison Emergency Shelter Association (MESA).
*** LITERACY PROGRAM – donations of new or gently used books for local schools, library and charities.
*** SUPPORT THE TROOPS – “Operation Warm Heart” – A collection box is available at all MCRW monthly membership meetings for donations.
