Yes they have. Democrats have tried six times over the last six days to vote the Senate OFF the energy debate:
July 30 Extenders, Media Shield; July 29 Extenders;
July 28 Reid omnibus spending package (that would have
added $11.3 billion in taxpayer spending);
July 26 LIHEAP; July 25 Speculation-only bill
The real truth, the Democrats aren't interested in finding real energy solutions. They aren't interested in taking a first real step toward energy independence by showing the world's oil barons that we will not be held hostage!
The democrat majority objected to every offer to lift the drilling ban on deep-sea exploration-- even if the gas crisis hit an astounding $10 a gallon!
