The Little ACORN That Didn't Grow
By now hopefully you have heard about the video expose done by a young investigative reporter that shows, in several states, the liberal group Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN) giving advice to a supposed pimp and prostitute how to commit tax fraud while exploiting young teenage immigrant girls.
The videos are almost laughable until you realize the seriousness of the charges and how closely the Democrats are tied to this vile organization (President Obama himself once led training seminars for ACORN.) Taking advantage of the public attention to the topic, Representative Darrel Issa (R-Calif.) attached Minority Leader John Boehner's (R-Ohio) legislation to de-fund ACORN to the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act yesterday-and it passed overwhelmingly!
If this language is allowed to become law, it will terminate funding of ACORN across the federal government. This long overdue de-funding of a corrupt organization that thrives on your tax dollars is a welcome victory! Similar videos exposing exploitation of young women by Planned Parenthood are also all over the Internet. Here is hoping Congress can set their sights on these villains next.
