Event: Rally to Protect Constitution

Lobbying will continue throughout the day with a Rally hosted by Virginia Campaign for Liberty, AFP, ALA, FreedomWorks, Virginia TEA Party Patriots & others at the Bell Tower 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Emcee: Patrick Henry impersonator, Mike McHugh of the Virginia Gun Owners Coalition, dressed in period costume, will give the famous Patrick Henry speech.
Purpose of Lobby/Rally: to support 10th amendment legislation to challenge the powers of the federal government not delegated to it by the states: Virginia Firearms & Virginia Healthcare Freedom Act .

No law shall interfere with the right of a person or entity to pay for lawful medical services to preserve life or health, nor shall any law impose a penalty, tax, fee, or fine, of any type, to decline or to contract for health care coverage or to participate in any particular health care system or plan, except as required by a court where an individual or entity is a named party in a judicial dispute. Nothing herein shall be construed to expand, limit or otherwise modify any determination of law regarding what constitutes lawful medical services within the Commonwealth.”
