Congressman Good Update: District Meetings with Hardworking Virginians

Working for You

Our team continues to work hard for Virginians across the Fifth District. Since taking office:

  • We have responded in writing to 65,403 messages from constituents.
  • We have helped resolve 4,028 cases our constituents had with federal agencies.
  • We are currently working to cut through bureaucratic red tape for over 650 more Virginians.
  • We have facilitated the successful return of more than $17.3 million owed to Virginians by their federal government.
We work with every agency on many issues, from Social Security benefits to State Department passport applications. We have helped 786 people with delays in processing their tax returns. And, I am especially proud of the work we do on behalf of our veterans. We have already worked on cases for 443 veterans over the past 27 months.

One of the ways we work to serve you more effectively is by conducting Mobile Office Hours in your community. Each month members of my team travel the 5th District to bring you the convenience of meeting in person with a congressional staff member.

On March 21st, the team will be in the city of Charlottesville from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. (available by appointment only), and Louisa County from 1 p.m. to 3p.m. On March 23rd, the team will be in Nottoway County from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and in Mecklenburg County from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information on the dates, times and locations for mobile office hours, including how to make an appointment in Charlottesville, please visit my website at https://good.house.gov/mobile-office-hours.

Whether you need help with a federal agency, are trying to find out if federal grants are available for your local project, or are considering applying to a service academy, you can visit the following link to see how my staff and I are here to serve you: https://good.house.gov/services/help-federal-agency.

I will continue to do my best going forward to fight for you in Congress and for the principles that continue to make America the greatest nation in our history.
