The Virginia Medical Freedom Alliance (VAMFA) is concerned that the Virginia Board of Health may be considering the addition of the C-19 jab to the required immunizationschedule for school children (which applies to all children under 18 years in VA, regardless of school attendance or type).

The VDH began a regulatory review of the administrative law chapter that includes the immunization schedule in Fall. VAMFA led a public comment campaign that resulted in over 600 comments in opposition filed in less than three weeks. A regulatory report of VDH  recommended changes is due by the end of March. This will be that last opportunity to speak in opposition before they may make a decision. Since the CDC added the jab to its scheduled of required immunizations for schoolchildren in February 2023, we are concerned that the BOH may use that as an excuse to mandate it for VA children — even though VA is not required by law to accept the CDC schedule (for example, VA schedule does not require the influenza vaccine while the CDC schedule does).
