Energy Independence: Give America an Up or Down Vote, Madam Speaker

Americans know they are conserving energy. They've driven billions of miles less this year compared to just a few years ago. American are making the effort but Democrats are still blocking energy independence at the behest of one of their most lucrative backers, the environmentalists or eco-communists. Democrats love to accuse Republicans of being too close to big oil but what is the difference here? They are not concerned about what is in the best interests of the United States. They could care less about your pain at the pump. If they did, they would have given the American Energy Act an up or down vote before running away from their obligation to American taxpayers. Republicans, rebelling against Democrat obstructionism and arrogance, have stayed to advocate for you.
“We’re here on behalf of the American people. Our request is end the vacation, stop the vacation… Give us an up or down vote on producing more energy right here in America.”

“We’re not permitted to even use your resources. Let’s use less energy but find more sources. No one will hear that message if you don’t repeat it. American people need to hear the message. This is still a democracy. To never get a chance to vote is just wrong. Call the speaker’s office and tell her you want a vote.”
