Virginians for John McCain

You can tell from reading the newsletter below that John McCain has an enthusiastic team in Virginia:

Joe McCain and the Straight Talk Express make an Alexandria McCain Nation Neighborhood Party a huge success


Picture of Joe McCain Across Commonwealth and throughout the country, supporters of John McCain opened their homes to friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to spread his message of Country First and expand his support.

Over 90 events were held in Virginia where those gathered participated in a conference call with Cindy McCain and McCain -Campaign Senior Advisor Charlie Black.

Debbie Spagnoli, of Alexandria, welcomed the Straight Talk Express - to her party along with special guest, Joe McCain. Joe energized the crowd of over 100 with a speech about why his brother is ready to lead America.

"The McCain Nation events that took place around the country this evening show just how energized our grassroots campaign has become. It's the American people who are the best spokespeople for our campaign, and that will help ensure victory in November," Cindy McCain told conference call participants.


Three GOP leaders firing back on energy costs



"What has gotten everyone's attention is $4.00 a gallon gasoline." -- George Allen


A trio of Republican leaders touted Sen. John McCain's energy plan Wednesday while also discussing high energy prices.

George Allen, a former governor and U.S. senator, U.S. Rep. Thelma Drake and State Sen. Frank Wagner praised John McCain's support for offshore drilling, increased nuclear and coal power, and incentives to develop alternative energy sources.
